Great customer service, lovely food. Professional customer service received by both Evangeline and Imogen.
A good stopover hotel
Stayed a night here on our way to Eurotunnel. A lovely welcome at reception. The room was clean and adequate. We had supper in the restaurant, our waitress Evangeline was superb....friendly, attentive but not intrusive, a great asset to the hotel team. Highly recommend.
Will return!
My partner and I had such a lovely time here, it was the perfect break. Our room was spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable we slept brilliantly. The spa facilities were also immaculately kept, and we both enjoyed an absolutely amazing massage, exactly what we needed to unwind. Breakfast had a great selection with plenty of choice to suit everyone, and we ate dinner in the restaurant one evening where the food was delicious. A special mention to our waitresses Evangeline and Imogen, who were fantastic throughout, so friendly and attentive. We’ll definitely be coming back!

Friendly, helpful restaurant staff
After a 2 day drive we had an overnight stop at the Ashford International hotel. Friendly from reception onwards. As we had our dog we had dinner in lounge area. Restaurant staff very good - in particular EVANGELINE and IMOGEN who were helpful and professional, always with a friendly smile. An asset.

The lady who cleaned our room tidied up nicely and put things away neatly as well as replenishing g our fridge and refreshments , thank you . Evangelina was very hospitable at dinner and dealt with our needs well. Thanks
Business trip
Hotel good on the whole. Breakfast not up to much, rooms a bit dated and could do with plugs by the bed and fridges in rooms. But the spa is great and the dinner in the restaurant is fantastic. The evening waitresses in particular have been very helpful whilst I've been dining there all week. Imogen, Evangeline and Breeze, thank you
Lovely break
Enjoyed 2 nights and had breakfast on both mornings & dinner on the first night. Room was very clean & comfortable and had everything we needed. We were served by Evangeline in the restaurant & she was extremely polite & helpful & we all enjoyed a lovely meal, Breakfast was also lovely but slightly more hectic than at dinner . Would have liked to use the spa but found the treatments too expensive. Would definitely return.
Positive with some room for improvement
We had a lovely welcome on arrival. Dinner on the first night was a really smooth and enjoyable experience. We had a lovely waitress called Evangeline who was friendly, attentive and upbeat. The food was good quality and we didn’t have to wait long between courses. The suite that we have is clean and comfortable. The air conditioning is not working as efficiently as it should do. The shower is also quite small. Breakfast was very disappointing. The staff are not as friendly as the staff at dinner. There were no staff members to ask to order items from the menu. There was a queue for tea and coffee, with only two machines available for a large group of people. The eggs were stuck together and gloopy. There was no brown bread available for toast. I also found a long, black hair in the sausages. Disgusting. The quality of the food was really poor. Overall, the hotel seems modern and well kept. The staff have been friendly and positive, apart from the exceptions at breakfast. However, we would stay again but breakfast does need to drastically improve as it was poorer quality than a Premier Inn. We do like Q Hotels and enjoy relaxing weekends away with them.
Feedback on experience
Rooms are as described, hotel is clean and staff welcoming and friendly. Bit of confusion between booking and arrival at reception as information not correctly shared. Plenty of parking. Spa absolutely worth it, great experience there, staff encountered in spa were approachable and professional. Used the restaurant over two nights and was served by Breeze, Evangeline, Evon and Akos all very helpful and attentive. Meals were lovely and very good portion sizes. Also had an afternoon tea to celebrate my birthday and the bar staff were great in organising this. Would definitely return.
Relaxing
Room was clean and spacious, facilities were clean and in good condition, the pool wasn't particularly busy, spa was amazing, Dinner was good, food cooked perfectly, our server Evangeline was attentive and didn't rush us, gave good recommendations for the dessert.
What Wonderful Staff!
I was totally overwhelmed by the hospitality of staff, facilities, and the overall ambience of the hotel. I went for a family celebration and the staff at Ashford were made it extra special; they were courteous, friendly, and went overboard to accommodate me and my families needs. The room I stayed in was exquisite, extremely comfortable, and stocked with all sorts of goodies for guests. I loved the overall ambience of the hotel, it was warm, inviting, and exhilarating, all at the same time, and this was without checking out any of their spa facilities. My sincerest thanks to the wonderful team at Ashford for making our stay that extra special.
Excellent stay!
The reception staff were kind and very welcoming. The room was large and had everything we needed including a wardrobe, set of drawers and a good hairdryer. The food was amazing at the breakfast counter and staff were very friendly.

Thank you very much to the staff at the Ashford International Hotel for a wonderful stay. When we arrived, my Dad was having problems with his mobility. We were booked to stay on the 3rd Floor, (a member of the Team had taken our cases up to the room); Anyway, this was immediately changed to the 1st floor (our luggage was brought back down to us). Many thanks to Kayleigh and Team for sorting this, and then Kayleigh came back with a wheelchair to use (which we used for the first couple of days). The customer service from Kayleigh was excellent, and all the staff were very helpful. Thank you for helping to make our stay at the Ashford International very enjoyable. Good Experience
Hotel stopover onwards to Channel Tunnel. Food was good and waitress Evangeline was friendly and attentive. Overall a good experience

Fantastic one night stay, with treatments and dinner.
Took my friend here for her birthday. The most relaxing lovely experience. All the staff were fantastic. From the receptionist who welcomed up in. To the young ladies who did our treatments. Then the food was absolutely amazing. It was made even more special by Imogen and Chloe from the restaurant, as they gave my friend a lovely birthday torte and sang happy birthday to her. I would come back here in a heart beat for any occasion.
